Hello My Scary Ghosts and Goblins!!!!!

Have some fun and scary things to do during this month!!! Starting this Saturday,
October 17th

First, this Saturday, October 17th is.........ZOMBIE MARCH!!!
What: A "zomv=bie walk" is an organized public gathering of people who dress
up in zombie costumes ad travel from one place to another. In this case, The Main
Street Zombie March is a fundraiser organized to benefit the Santa Clarita Food
Pantry. Sponsored by Brave New World Comics in Newhall and the Heritage Haunt at
Hart Park, with invaluable support from the Old Town Newhall Association, and the
City of Santa Clarita.
Where: All zombies are invited to start their day at Brave New World, where
a team of make-up artists from Studio Make-up Academy will be on hand to offer truly
gruesome makeovers, in exchange for a donation to the Food Pantry. You can always do
your own make-up, of course, but donations are still encouraged! The shambling will
begin at Brave New World, head east on Lyons Ave. to Main Street, where it will take
a terrifying right turn toward Hart Park!
When: SATURDAY OCTOBER 17
Brave New World will open their doors at 10 am, for
make-up and zombie staging. The masses of undead will take to the streets at 6pm
Why: Did we mention the zombies? Enough said! Actually, this event not
only kicks off another exciting season of Hart Park's Heritage Haunt, but also
serves as a fundraiser and canned food drive for the Santa Clarita Valley Food
Pantry.
Plus zombies, All registered participants will
receive FREE entry into the Heritage Haunt festivities!!!
Who: The undead, of course... And YOU! Anyone may participate, though we
do ask that you be over 16 years old, or bring along a parent, and prepared to sign
the Contract of Zombie Conduct.
How: Register for the event at Brave New World, or by visiting
facebook.com/bravenewworldcomics, and click on the events tab. If you decide that
you'd like to participate, but haven't taken the time to preregister, no problem!
You may register on the day of the event at Brave New World.
What Else: Following the Main Street Zombie March, everybody (undead or
not) is invited to attend AN ENCHANTED EVENING:ZOMBIE PROM! The party will kick off
at 8pm at Brave New World. With live (undead) music, food, fun and freakishly good
times. Also, Autumn Hull Photography will be on hand to provide the very best Zombie
Prom portraits you've ever seen, all for an additional donation to the Santa Clarita
Valley Food Pantry!

Brave New World Comics is located at 22722 Lyons Ave., at the
corner of Lyons Ave., and Chestnut St. In the Yellow Victorian Center. 661-259-4745
